Lone Tree
Lone Tree is a small and irregularly shaped, incorporated city in the south metro area. Within the boundaries of Lone Tree are the extremely popular Park Meadows Shopping Mall and the surrounding Park Meadows retail areas. In fact, Lone Tree was formed primarily related to Park Meadows for control and tax purposes.
There are several neighborhoods with most home prices at the mid and higher ranges. While at first glance, Acres Green looks like a part of Lone Tree, it is not. Acres Green does contain much more affordable housing.
Along with some of the best shopping in the area, Lone Tree includes the growing Sky Ridge Medical Center and hospital and the public Lone Tree Golf Club that is owned and operated by the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District. This course was built as a private club so is not a typical public operation.
Lone Tree is minutes to the DTC office park and very convenient to I-25 for a downtown commute or the light rail stations along the highway.
